Lyna Khoudri is a French-Algerian actress recognized for her impactful roles in both French and international films. Born on October 3, 1992, in Algiers, Algeria, she moved to France during her childhood to escape the civil unrest. She studied theater at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris.

Khoudri gained widespread recognition for her role in the 2017 film “Les Bienheureux” (The Blessed), for which she won the Orizzonti Award for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival. Her performance in “Papicha” (2019) as Nedjma, a young woman defying societal norms, earned her the César Award for Most Promising Actress in 2020.
